Macy’s 2nd Mondays means special fun days for children. Here’s a look what’s in store at Greenfield Village for June 11 from 10 a.m.-noon:
There is storytelling, puppet shows, fun, games, bubbles and giveaways on the Village Green. In the Pavilion, children can make pinwheels and sing summer songs with Barry the Guitar Guy. The cherry on top of this sweet morning is the opportunity for free rides on the historic 1913 Herschell-Spillman carousel. There is no additional cost for the program with admission to Greenfield Village. There’s even a coupon for 25-percent savings on adult admission for the Macy’s 2nd Mondays through October. (Specific dates apply.) Members are admitted for free.
