Looking for an exciting way to spend the summer? Why not here at The Henry Ford? With our Summer Discovery Camps, kids can experience all of the fun going on everyday!

Try your hand at creating a Maker Faire inspired electric car, seeing the inner workings of the Dymaxion House, operating a railroad hand car, workshops with our very own Greenfield Village horses and making spice cookies on a coal burning stove. What fun!

Our camps offer total immersion into the museum and Greenfield Village with lessons in science, fun crafts and various learning activities during 5-day sessions throughout the summer. Discovery Camps are for children entering 2nd through 9th grade with specific levels and themes by grade to provide age appropriate activities.
