Who would have thought that The Henry Ford would host some of the craziest McGyver-like inventions and creations? Only at the 2nd annual Maker Faire Detroit, of course! July 30-31 makers from across the nation, as well as right here from Michigan, will come together to showcase their ingenuity and innovations! With more than 300 makers at the fair, we cannot wait to see what they have in store for us!
Don’t miss the Life Size Mouse Trap, Robbie the Robot, Handmade Detroit, The Henry Ford’s pottery artisans, a young makers area, hands-on activities, live music performances and delicious food that make this an event like no other.
Where do we hold this large event? In The Henry Ford’s west parking lot as well as in Henry Ford Museum. Visitors can enter near the IMAX lobby doors, the Automotive Hall of Fame, and also through the museum’s Weinermobile Cafe exit. Tickets are available for purchase in advance, as well as the day of.
