While Maker Faire may be about the craziest and latest inventions, the food is definitely a shining star this year! While you stroll through the fair, enjoy some of The Henry Ford’s favorites as well as delicious creations from our featured food makers that you won’t want to miss.

Chow down on The Henry Ford’s classics like hot dogs, peanut butter sandwiches and jelly and fresh corn on the cob. Or try something different with a falafal sandwich or chicken skewers. Be sure to leave room for dessert with delicious homemade Rice Krispie treats, in-season watermelon or a scrumptious strawberry shortcake!

More into veggies? Stop by Avalon Breads’ booth where they have delicious vegan and vegetarian options. They feature vegan date bars, carrot cake, veggie sandwiches and a raw vegan salad.

Also check out Buddy’s Pizza’s booth to get a delicious slice of their famous deep dish pizza!

Have a sweet tooth? Head over to the Melting Moments Ice Cream booth where they serve ice cream scoops, frozen yogurt, shakes, chocolate covered bananas and create-a-cookie ice cream sandwiches. Or go to Okie Dokie Doughnuts for mini fried dough treats. Can you say yum?
